Chances are excellent that you may come across a cancellation at a park in the National Capital, North Atlantic or Southeast regions that I don’t know is out there. When you collect one, please let me know! While every effort has been made to make the Passport Companion Guides as accurate and complete as possible, the free-flowing nature of the program makes it likely that cancellations exist that have never been reported back to Eastern National or to me.
Here’s what I need to know:
1. The exact location of the cancellation: The park or site name, the street address or building, and where in the building it can be found.
2. To post the cancellation on this website, I will need a jpeg file (scan) of the cancellation itself. If you don’t have a scanner, try the nearest Kinko’s—and if it’s just not possible to scan it, send me an exact transcription of the words on the stamp, and tell me if the words are in upper and lower case letters or all capitals. I’ll verify it with the park before posting it.
3. Your name and e-mail address
4. The date on which you visited the park
5. Your home city and state (or province or country, if you’re not in the US)
Please send all of this information to me at foundstamp@minetor.com. I will answer to let you know it’s been received. Thank you for your support of the parks, and for being a part of this exciting program!
