Randi is the author of twelve travel guides for FalconGuides, an imprint of The Globe Pequot Press. Her nine-book series, The Passport To Your National Parks Companion Guides (developed in conjunction with Eastern National bookstores) is the only complete guide to the locations of more than 1,500 Passport cancellation stamps throughout the 391 parks and 90-plus affiliates of America's national park system. In addition, she has written two FalconGuides Pocket Guides to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Acadia National Park, in partnership with her husband, lighting designer and nature photographer Nic Minetor. More Pocket Guides by Team Minetor are planned in 2008 and 2009.
Randi's first book, Breadwinner Wives and the Men They Marry (New Horizon Press, 2002), broke new ground in the nation's acknowledgment of women as the primary breadwinners in more than one-third of all American families.
