Nic's foundation as a lighting designer came from his years as resident designer with both the Minnesota Jazz Dance Company, the Anacrusis Dance Company, solo dancer Bev Sonen, and the Andahazy Ballet in Minneapolis. In Rochester, he brings his lighting design skills to the Elizabeth Clark Dance Company, the Rochester Institute of Technology, and others.
