As one of upstate New York's leading lighting directors, Nic provides lighting design and gaffing services to clients ranging from Public Broadcasting Service to National Geographic, and from Time Warner Communications to Eastman Kodak Company's motion picture film testing laboratories.

Smithsonian Institution. Endgame: Beckett Directs Beckett. Feature film by San Quentin Drama Workshop.
National Geographic Society Educational Presentations. "Where Does It Come From?" and "Playing Fair."
Delmar Publishing. 15-part medical assistant training series.
Upstate Roundtable on Manufacturing. "Making It," video on manufacturing for fifth to eighth grade city school students. Winner of the Public Relations Society of America's Prism Awards for Best Video Presentation and Best of Show

Resources Unlimited. Demonstration tape. Winner of 1995 Golden Eagle award and highest honors, Columbus Film Festival.
Geisinger Medical Centers. Narrative film for capital campaign fundraising.
Strong Memorial Hospital. Narrative film for capital campaign fundraising.
Eastman Kodak Company, Professional Motion Imaging. As part of Nic's ongoing relationship with Kodak PMI for film testing and production, Nic created the lighting for "Dancer," a film that demonstrates the capabilities of Kodak 5273 Motion Picture Film.
Disney I.D.E.A.S., Inc. Scholastic Sports and Compaq Computer promotional films, produced at Walt Disney Studios in Orlando, FL.
LIGHTING DIRECTOR EXPERIENCE: TELEVISION
Time Warner Communications. R News 1995-2003: Permanent lighting design for 24-hour news broadcast. Five studio sets including news, weather, sports, interview, and six stand-ups in newsroom. Also ongoing lighting consultation for chroma-key virtual sets.
Second Opinion. Lighting director for this PBS series pilot.
Michael Civisca in concert. Produced for broadcast and for commercial distribution as a concert video.
Chuck Mangione in Concert. Nine-camera shoot of five-hour live performance.
Xerox Education Network. Multi-camera live satellite uplink broadcasts for corporate audience. Roundtable and panel discussions, call-in broadcasts, live audience.
Xerox Media Center. Multi-camera live satellite uplink broadcasts. Shareholders' meetings, Teamwork Day, convention center/dais settings.
