Nic Minetor is the lighting designer of choice for the University of Rochester's Eastman Opera Theatre and the Blackstone Valley Playhouse in Rhode Island. His experience as a master electrician for 50 productions at Geva Theatre (Rochester's LORT B resident professional theater) and at the Santa Fe Opera provided Nic with the perspective of both the artist and the technician. With this background, Nic creates extraordinary lighting designs with an eye toward economy of scale, user-friendly installation and operability, without sacrificing the artistic integrity of the production.
